Richmond road, has one of Cardiff`s most famous and prestigious buildings The Mansion House. Habershon & Fawckner designed the Mansion House and it was built in 1896 for James Howell, owner of another iconic Cardiff landmark – Howells department store. It was then known then as ‘The Grove’.
The Mansion house is now the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Cardiff.
The properties in Richmond Road are varied, with many of the original and imposing large family houses becoming available for conversion or refurbishment.
PRW Construction were invited to tender by ASA Architects on behalf of their client The Institute of Charity South Wales Rosminian Order to convert two adjoining houses in to 8 luxury flats.
Work commenced in April on the properties, so it is currently a work in progress as you can see from the gallery.
November 2013 was completion and hand over day for this project. What a difference the Seren team have made. The client now has 8 superbly refurbished apartments
